The food is absolutely delicious! The clam chowder was extremely flavourful, the kids meals were more than generous and both the cod tacos and fish and chips were all top notch. We will definitely be back!
Very lovely cozy n tasty fish n chips place... Plus the alcoholic free beer is the best choice to go with the fish n chips. Will come back again for sure
Best fish and chips spot I've ever been to! Huge pieces of HALIBUT/cod came with crispy fries and tasty coleslaw. And their bowl (or a cup) of clam chowder is a must! I also recommend a can of Lucky lager to pair with everything. They also cater to customers who brought their dogs with seats available outside!
BEST FISH AND CHIPS ON THE ISLAND! Locals, if you haven't tried this place, you're missing out. Vacation-ers, THIS is the place to get your fill of quality fish. My husband and I are from Minnesota, visiting for motorcycle training at the Enduro Park, and this place has been our go-to for dinner almost every night we can. We LOVE the batter they use on the fish, the crunch is amazing. The fish is so tender, moist, and perfectly cooked with the right amount of sturdy flakey that everyone loves. Every. Single. Time. We've never had better fish - this is the place! Secret menu item, if you're looking for a treat, is to try the clam chowder poutine. It's literally their famous clam chowder on top curds and fries. It was actually really good (I love clam chowder, so it was a great surprise!). The owners and team are amazing, fast and smooth when they hit a rush, and they answer every question we have. A hidden gem for sure. We tried other places on the island for fish and it never tastes as good. You have spoiled us!
After finishing at the fun morning at Malahat Skywalk, we were hungry!! We saw that Westcoast Fish and Chips was just a short drive up Highway 1. What can I say, our lunch time meal was excellent. You can't go wrong with freshly made Fish and Chips!, pleasant surroundings and nice cup of tea! If you are close by and hungry don't hesitate and drop in. There is plenty of seating outside and in and parking as well. Highly recommended
The halibut and yam fries are amazing! The roasted garlic sauce for the yam fries is great. We came it for a late lunch after a day of travel and exploring. Wish this place was in Washington State. You definitely should go eat here. It’s a quick drive from Mahalat Sky Walk.
Stopped in for small fries and a coleslaw and ended up getting grilled as well. They have a 'senior's meal'. I am not a senior quite yet but this was the perfect amount for me and it was only 13! Really delicious too!
This is the best fish and chips I have ever had, period. The halibut is so fresh and the chips are homemade crisp goodness. I am from Atlantic Canada where we mostly have haddock, but the halibut takes it to another level. And thank you for the military discount, greatly appreciated.
